Today, we\u2019re meeting Hydrogen Service Manager, Mike Wilcher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"entry-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.plugpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/MWilcher.jpg\"<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4829\" src=\"https:\/\/www.plugpower.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/MWilcher-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"MWilcher\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mike, please explain what you do for a living in 20 words or fewer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>I am responsible for the operation and upkeep of Plug Power\u2019s GenFuel hydrogen products.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What are three words that describe you?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Energetic<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Confident<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Driven<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What about hydrogen and fuel cells inspires you most?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>To be honest, it\u2019s quite simple. I wake up each morning and do something that very few people get a chance to do. The fuel cell and hydrogen industries are relatively small. I rarely run into someone who knows what a fuel cell is or that hydrogen exists as a liquid. Plug Power has given me the opportunity to not only work with this new technology, they\u2019ve encouraged me be part of the change in our world.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>In this day and age, I\u2019d take a satellite phone to call to be rescued. But to play along, I\u2019d have to bring the essentials: a fire starter, a knife, and my dog.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What&#8217;s the most unusual thing you&#8217;ve ever eaten?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>A few years ago, I had chicken feet; and I would actually have them again, if given the opportunity.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to?\u00a0 Why?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>I\u2019d travel back to 1804 and join Lewis and Clark on their expedition west.
